Cat trees and cat houses
Cat trees are an excellent gift for any cat and sometimes they look great too. They come in varying sizes and range in price for $30 all the way up to thousands. They provide your cat an excellent place for resting with varying ranges of height on each branch.
Most Cat trees come with some form of carpeting on the branches and poles for the cat go scratch and rub on instead of your nice furniture. Cat trees are sometimes called 'cat towers' and you can find them online at various cat shops. A nice thing about them is they do not weigh a whole lot so the shipping fee might be slightly cheaper than you might think, depending on the shipping company fees of course.
Heated beds or carpets
One of the latest trends in the cat communities are heated beds or heated carpets for your cat to rest on. These provide the ideal resting spot for a cat that's very tired and just wants to relax, were not the only ones that like to be in a relaxing warm bed. Some of the beds actually contain orthopedic foam and make excellent for comfort. Often these beds will use less than 6 watts power and if you can find one that has less than 6 watts of power then you've probably found a gem.
Remote controlled toys
If you can find these, these make excellent gifts. The remote controlled mice or running birds make great fun for your cat to play with. You get to control the mouse's every move and your cat's instincts will pickup on the movements as the movements will appear to be 'alive-like'.
One thing you might want to look for when you buy one of these is to make sure it's the rechargeable kind as continually buying batteries for the device can quickly become costly.
Scratch posts or carpets
Well this one isn't as much a gift for your cat as it will be for you, but a scratch carpet or a scratch post will help sharpen your cat's claws and will save your furniture from being scratched up by a cat. The carpets can be very cheap in price too.
